Low Emissivity (Low-E) Coated Glass uses ultra-thin, transparent layers of silver, contained within layers of anti-reflective metal oxide coatings, to promote energy-saving heat insulation. Low-E glass improves energy efficiency by reducing the unwanted loss of heat or cold through windows. In the Summer, Low-E products allow visible sunlight in while blocking infrared and ultraviolet solar radiation. In Winter, Low E glass prevents heat from escaping the room by reflecting it back inside. Low-E glass translates into significant savings in heating and air conditioning costs.
Low-E coating line is from Von Ardenne of Germany. |
